Most would say “NO” to that question because of possibly the personal experiences they may have had with a “Used Car Salesman”. Some of the negative adjectives you hear when it comes to the phrase “Used Car Salesman” is a “Smooth Talking, Unethical, Self-Absorbed, “Sleaze Bag” to be kind and unfortunately these adjectives have plagued the reputation of the “Selling Industry”….thus you always hear the statement “Nobody Wants To Be Sold”.
Our ability to be able to communicate effectively whether verbally or listening is vital to our potential success as sales professionals and with that said is there any way our profession can shed that reputation as the “Sleaze Bag Used Car Salesman” and still improve our ability to “COMMUNICATE” effectively to the customer? Does The “Used Car Salesman” Get A Bad Rap?
